Okay, I'm listening the other night to one of the news stations as they grill a Florida  congress lady about why we should be drilling for oil off the Florida coast, along with other energy developments and conservation measures. It was appalling the answers and response that this woman gave for the reason why we shouldn't be drilling. It sounds like No-One-Is-Home-in-Washington DC. Who voted this empty shirt into office in the first place? The oil crisis in our country is very simple. Seventy-five percent more drilling where we know the oil is, and twenty-five percent researching and developing-not only alternative sources-but redesigning the combustion engine to burn less fuel and alternatives. The combustion engine hasn't had any significant changes since we began using the modern automobile.

I heard this Congress woman say, "the oil companies have some 68 million acres of land that they hold drilling leases on, and they should try and start with those lands first, before looking to drill elsewhere". I really believe that these politicians think that the country as a whole are a bunch of dumb and ignorant drones! I, too, at times question the thinking and intelligence of my countrymen. However, the vast majority of Americans can still reason with our own minds that the Good LORD gave us.

First of all, we know that when an oil company purchase the lease's, to said lands for drilling, they have these leases for about five years before they have to be renewed. In this period of time the oil companies spend millions exploring the lands for oil. Its called exploration! And it takes time to find this Black-gold that every nation on the planet is coveting. On some of the land they find oil, however, its the quantities that are discovered which will guide the project.

Lets go through this very slow one more time! Lets say you find oil that you discover has about 30,000 barrels in the ground(I'm using this number as an example).  At current market value $145.00 a barrel on the open market, it would be worth about $4.35 million dollars, but its going to cost you $5 million dollars to get it out of the ground. Its not enough oil there to really have any impact on the nation, its not cost effective to get too, and there is no profit. I own a business and I can tell you that you have to make a profit. Its not a bad thing! Its the American way. I am no advocate for any of these companies, however we have to use common sense and do things logically. What they do next is let the leases run out, so that they can acquire new lease's on new lands so that they can hopefully find something substantial enough to be of benefit to the bottom line. Think about it. Their bottom line means more oil to the country, better pension and 401 returns to instituional investors (for which your 401K is most likely invested in). We need to move the politicians out of the way, which is the reason we are in this mess in the first place.

These politicians like Nancy Polosi, Harry Reid, Edward Kennedy, Diane Feinstein and other believers that nature is more important than people, are the ones who are at fault in this crisis. For years they have been selling you and me, the American people out. This pitifully odorous road that they have lead us down, by way of the most deceitful proceedings and disertations, for the sake of greed of MONEY that environmental lobbyist surreptitiously contribute through, SPECIAL GIFTS, AND BACK CHANNELS. How many of the Senators and Congressmen have offshore bank accounts and charitable organizations, that they have either formed as a blind trustee or sit on the board and receives a stipend from? Some even own businesses that they either get special grants and contracts that are okay'd by their buddies in Congress. When you are a partner in a land company that purchase's land, then you (the congressman) press's congress for highway funding to build a new highway spur that will traverse the land that you and your business partners own, this is looting of the People of these United States of America. This is the reason that they think that they are wise to do what they say we can't do-drill for oil in Anwar- because of the caribou that lives there.  For all of you who don't believe me then listen to what god has to say on the subject:

I use this scripture because it is exactly what is happening to us, as a country.                                                    On the Fourth of July, I was sitting and talking with friends at a barbeque. A Hispanic friend of mine started to talk about the War in Iraq. Another friend who had just got back from serving in the US Army in Iraq was listening with his son of about 13 years of age, to our conversation. Miguel made a statement that," We should be talking to Osama Bin Ladin and the terrorist, and that we were wrong to go into Iraq". "That we (our government) lied about the true reasons for going in there, and that we are not liked very much in the world".  These are standard liberal talking points. He was simply parroting what he has heard and hasn't performed research on the issue to be self informed, and not regurgitate lies and distortions of the liberal press. I felt it was my duty to enlighten my brother concerning these issue's.

First, I explained to him that I had just spent the Morning reading the Declaration of Independence. I asked him, "what if I were a terrorist and I said to you that I wanted your name to be Bob instead of Miguel, and that I wanted you to live a certain way, and that I would determine what would be in your best interest." And if you refused to do as I am demanding, then I will call you an infidel and kill you when I got the chance"!  "What would you say to that," I asked?   "I would say lets talk anyway's," he replied. Truly a profound statement of fear! I said to him that the policies of this country had to change after 911 to address the issue of the Nuclear threat that was posed by a dictatorship that had used chemical weapons on its neighbors. And would certainly use nuclear weapons on us by proxy of some terrorist network, if he got his hands on them. I told him that people like Osama Bin Ladin, and others like him would have to know that their is no safe place on the planet, and the countries that would harbor, assist and help them would have to see that any such action would be an act of declared war. This country America the beautiful will be safe from all enemies domestic and foreign as our Declaration of Independence so eloquently states, and that I didn't give a HOOT about what the rest of the world didn't like, where our own security are at stake!. I said to him, "They all still want to come here to live, and use MY tax dollars to get a education, and then want to put my country down". I let him know in very certain terms that the men and women who have died for this country, and the ones who were this very day fighting for us to keep it safe here at home"are hero's and are fighting the good fight. America, for all that we have been through is the most charitable nation on the planet, due to our belief in GOD, through churches and other organizations. No matter what anyone says we are for our country. What they forget is that GOD is still in control of everything. Here's what God has done in the past:

God is in control! But from Miguel's answers you can see that he is afraid, which is how most liberals feel on a daily basis. They can't imagine fighting for what's right, and it scare the hell out of them to think that they might have to defend themselves in any war. They might even have to die! This is there terror! Miguel doesn't believe that there is a GOD, which explains the fact that Fear rather than Faith is his currency of life. He would rather talk to you while you demand him to change his name and his way of Life, instead of standing up and defying with all ferocity of self, to deny the tyranny of despots that would try and intimidate a person or a Nation!
